PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Beat Repeat (2020-2021)
Rhythm game, basic arcade style that feels like playing in the club. Players can replay songs to get the highest score while gaining tokens to unlock more songs.
Environmental/Prop Artist: chromatic, synthy, neon style. To capture what it is like to be in a dance club. Making models such as DJ board, track highway, background buildings
Animation: 2D Ambient background for menu screens
Leadership: Assigned as Art Lead, made decisions for how game will look as well as lead others to improve their work. Always pushing them to exceed their own expectations
World Building: Adding HDRP/Post Processing and playing around with materials to make colors pop and bloom. Getting buttons to glow just right
Video Editing: Created trailer for game. Matched audio with video, clean cuts
Audio: Created Sound effects for clicking buttons, using Soundtrap to create and Reaper to edit. Adding effects such as chorus or reverb and comps, created 1 song titled “Dancing Snake”
Eden Falling (2021) Environment Artist
Takes place many generations after the apocalypse, Turn based RPG. Supposed to give the feel of time passing, along with futuristic feeling
Vegetation/World Building: With assets already made, I use Vegetation studio within Unity to decorate scenes with shrubbery and trees. Also place down solid decorations such as destroyed vehicles. Also sculpt and texture terrain.
Texturing: Working along with artists to texture and polish off unfinished assets. Following the rules of the art style: to feel old, little to no shine/ reflection
